Day 3 PM: SEA-LION Summit: Powering Southeast Asia’s AI Future (By AI Singapore)

AI Singapore’s inaugural SEA-LION Summit will kick off as the finale of AIMX Singapore 2025. Being the first to release a Southeast Asian languages Large Language (LLM) Model, SEA-LION, AI Singapore will share about the latest version of the open source SEA-LION LLM and its adoption in real-world use cases. At the SEA-LION Summit, AI Singapore will also present the winning solutions from their Pan-SEA AI Developers Challenge.

SEA-LION Industry Use Case Showcase: AWARE X WORKATO

Southeast Asian Languages in One Network (SEA-LION) is a family of open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) built to better understand Southeast Asia’s (SEA) diverse contexts, languages, and cultures. This project is anchored by the Products Pillar of AI Singapore and is part of Singapore’s National Multi-Modal LLM Project (NMLP). Our work on SEA-LION aims to create LLMs that cater to under-represented population groups and low-resource languages in the SEA region.
